Leadership
Trinity Episcopal Church values faithfulness to the Gospel, joy, and accountability in its leadership. As a parish in the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, we participate in regional mission and the life of the diocese, as guided by our bishop, the Rt. Rev. Mark Bourlakas. As Trinity parish, we elect members to the vestry, our church board to guide and support the ministries of the parish.

The Rev. Gail Goldsmith, rector
The Rev. Gail Goldsmith loves parish ministry because the church is a place of rest to hear Jesus' love for you and the church is our best practice for the Kingdom of God.
She earned her M. Div at University of Chicago Divinity School and Bexley Seabury, and most recently served as curate + college minister at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Auburn, AL. She currently serves on the Standing Committee for the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia.
Kathleen, her wife, is in strategic marketing for University of Lynchburg, and serves on the Digital Mission Team for the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia.
You can call her Gail, Rev. Gail if you prefer, but more importantly: call her for pastoral care, to talk ideas for Trinity’s ministries, to ask whatever question is on your heart and to share how God is moving in your life.
