God's lovingkindness Bible Study

Hesed, Hebrew for lovingkindess, covenant love, for 'when the person from whom I have a right to expect nothing gives me everything'--it's almost too beautiful to translate directly. I hope we will hear many of the layered meanings of hesed through studying passages from the Hebrew Bible, hear the good news that our ancestors in faith heard, that we will hear a deep sense of God's love for us and the posture of God's heart toward us as we gather for Christian Formation at 9:30am on Sundays this fall. We will skip two sessions of this on 9/25 (bishop's visit) and 10/2 (kids + family service) and get back to it with a lay-led session on 10/9.
